On 08 February 2024, a container from Switzerland arrived at Emana. Ordered by Afrique Future France, it was filled with medical equipment (a centrifuge, hospital beds, an ultrasound scanner, surgical clothing, a blood bank, etc.) as well as furniture for medical facilities and schools (a desk, chairs, pupil desks, etc.).

Deo Gratias Hospital in Emana is getting a new surgical device – a light source essential for endoscopic surgery. The donation comes from Afrique Future’s Western branch. The equipment will update the technical facilities of this hospital which is a reference in the city of Yaoundé. For Mrs Manguèlè, head of the hospital’s operating theatre, the donated material will facilitate the work of her team of surgeons and solve the problem due to ageing equipment. Other donations include a server for the accounts department and a latest-generation digital camera for the communications department.
